of the Status Quo of the Utilization of College of Management, HUST Tutor: Zhang Jinlong Graduate Student: Shuai Chuanmin Date: April 1999 ABSTRACT
China
is a big country of agriculture. The utilization of foreign capital to develop
export-oriented agro-economy is not only beneficial to the promotion of the
poverty relief and prosperity in the vast rural areas, but also plays an active
role in the development of the national economy and the social stability
throughout China. In this essay, beginning with an introduction to the status of
the utilization of foreign capital home and abroad, a thorough analysis is made
of the achievements, existing problems and their solutions in the field of
foreign capital utilization in agriculture in China during the last 20 years
ever since the country’s reform and open policy started. It also elaborates on
the different management models of the foreign-funded agricultural projects in
China. On the basis of the background information of the successful project
management experience of the “Integrated Agricultural Development Project in
the Wuling Mountains”, it puts forward to some suggestions on further
increasing the management skills and overall benefit of these projects. This
essay consists of five chapters. In
